Employee success stories - Lydia Thomas
London - September 12, 2022
Read how Lydia joined Wildstone as a temporary employee before catapulting her way to Development Manager - all in less than two years.

Lydia Thomas joined Wildstone as a temporary project coordinator working with the Acquisition and Build teams in September 2020 and she turned out to be the perfect fit. That’s why after just four months, Wildstone were delighted to offer Lydia a permanent role, which she readily accepted.

Great news for Lydia, and even better news for us!

Lydia says,

“I quickly fell in love with Wildstone. Its hard working, ferocious, and quirky outlook as a company made me realise I was part of a special business and something I wanted to be an integral part of.”

At Wildstone we believe if you want to grow, you can. The management team are quick to spot potential and from there the opportunities are endless.

Lydia is a real-life example of this. Once Lydia had secured her permanent position, she quickly moved onto the Acquisition team to assist with premium and freehold purchases.

And now? Lydia has recently passed her 6-month probation and is the Development Manager for the South West region. It’s a fantastic career progression and Wildstone are proud to have her on the team.

Andrew Foster, Development Director at Wildstone explains:

“We’re always looking for great people to enhance our team. In return, we give people the opportunity to enhance their career.

Lydia was proving herself. We realised her potential, gave her the opportunity and she’s making the most of it. I couldn’t be prouder of the progress she’s making!”

Lydia says,

“ The ethos and work culture is a fundamental aspect that encourages me to keep loving my job on a day-to-day basis. Not many people can say this but I enjoy coming into work every day”.

It’s not the end for Lydia though, she tells us,

“I look forward to progressing my career even further at Wildstone and am committed to doing all I can to make a huge success of this opportunity that I’ve been given.”

Lydia admits she’s amazed at how quickly Wildstone has grown in such a short amount of time and recognises the opportunities it opens up for anyone wanting to progress their career.

The Wildstone team are thrilled to have Lydia onboard. As the company continues to grow, the team looks forward to developing new talent into the future.
